NFL world reacts to Bears trick play TD vs. Cowboys

It’s been a slow start for the Chicago Bears offense through the first two games of the season, but the Ben Johnson effect is starting to produce results.

Following a three-and-out on their opening series — the first time Chicago hasn’t scored an opening touchdown this season — the Bears offense came alive. Quarterback Caleb Williams connected with wide receiver Rome Odunze for a 35-yard touchdown, and then the real fun began.

The Bears executed a brilliant flea flicker touchdown, which was made even more impressive considering running back D’Andre Swift’s flip was almost disastrous. But Williams was able to save it and still delivered a sensational 65-yard touchdown pass to rookie receiver Luther Burden III.

As you can imagine, there were plenty of reactions to Chicago’s trick play touchdown, which left both Bears fans and NFL fans alike impressed.
