When just looking at the matchup, you’d most likely automatically think that Notre Dame’s offensive line has an advantage against Arkansas, but PFSN College thinks otherwise.
They recently released their top performing offensive line units this fall, and the Razorbacks top the country. This isn’t the best news for the Irish, as the defensive line has struggled so far this fall. They did have their best collective game against Purdue, so the group is trending in the right direction.
They’ll need to continue that, as they’ll face arguably the top offensive line in the country, since others do differ in opinion, but it still says a lot considering they’ve already faced Miami and Texas A&M (No. 9 on the list). Arkansas has one of the top statistical offenses nationally, and the line has plenty to do with it.
Notre Dame’s defensive line will have to be at its best on Saturday, as the Razorbacks will pose a difficult test.
