Creating realistic trade offers that lead to a deal being accepted is always challenging. Throughout the season, Justin Boone will be publishing his rest-of-season trade value charts, which you can use as a guide to help make moves and manage your roster. He’ll also highlight some of the players you should be buying or selling each week.

Brock Purdy, 49ers — Purdy is close to a return from the toe and shoulder injuries that sidelined him the last two weeks. He may even be under center in Week 4. If that’s the case, Purdy will quickly retake his spot as a top-12 fantasy quarterback. Remember, he’s finished as the QB8 and QB12 in fantasy points per game each of the last two years. With Jauan Jennings, George Kittle and Brandon Aiyuk all expected to get back in the lineup in the coming weeks, the 49ers will be even more dangerous soon. This is also a team that has one of the easier schedules in 2025, so don’t overlook Purdy’s value.
Sell
Baker Mayfield, Buccaneers — Mayfield is the QB9 on the season and has three straight weekly finishes inside the top-15 fantasy QBs. However, the degree of difficulty just keeps ratcheting up. In addition to the offensive line injuries, Mike Evans is now expected to be sidelined multiple weeks with a hamstring issue. Chris Godwin may return soon, but we don’t know if he’ll be back to form right away. To make matters worse, the Buccaneers have to take on some tough opponents in the Eagles, Seahawks, 49ers and Lions over the next month. I expect Mayfield’s fantasy stock to dip during this next stretch.
