Washington Commanders injury report: Jayden Daniels, Terry McLaurin and a surprise

The Washington Commanders returned to practice Wednesday after Sunday’s 41-24 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Washington’s first injury report for Week 4 was extensive.

Before practice began, head coach Dan Quinn met with the media and indicated that quarterback Jayden Daniels would practice, but he’d be limited. Wide receiver Terry McLaurin would not participate, and it already sounds like he’s doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Falcons with a groin injury.

In some good news, cornerback Trey Amos was limited after leaving Sunday’s game early with a calf injury. Also, cornerback Marshon Lattimore was not listed on the injury report after clearing concussion protocol.

Here’s Washington’s full injury report for Wednesday:

Did not participate

  • TE John Bates (groin)
  • WR Terry McLaurin (quad)
  • WR Noah Brown (groin/knee)
  • S Percy Butler (hip)
  • RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt (knee)
  • TE Zach Ertz (NIR/rest)
  • OLB Von Miller (NIR/rest)
  • DT Daron Payne (NIR/rest)
  • LT Laremy Tunsil (NIR/rest)

Limited participant

  • CB Trey Amos (calf)
  • QB Jayden Daniels (knee)

Full participant

  • TE Colson Yankoff (hip)

The most surprising name on the list was Croskey-Merritt. No injury was reported in Sunday’s game for the rookie running back.

The most significant name not participating in Wednesday’s practice for the Falcons was cornerback A.J. Terrell (hamstring).
