There was some good news for the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday’s injury report: wide receiver Dyami Brown was back on the practice field.
After not practicing on Wednesday, Brown was officially listed as a limited participant.
Brown exited the Jaguars‘ Week 3 win against the Houston Texans.
Up to this point, head coach Liam Coen hasn’t provided any specific updates around Brown’s timeline or potential status for Sunday, but the fact that he is back at practice is a sign that he’s trending in the right direction.
Brown’s practice status on Friday could be quite telling in terms of his potential availability.
In three games this season, Brown has caught 10-of-14 passes for 116 yards and a touchdown. He’s added another versatile presence to the offense, lining up both outwide and in the slot, attacking each level of the field, and even getting some touches as a ball carrier.
Awaiting the Jaguars’ offense this week is a very stingy San Francisco 49ers’ defense.
