Updated Colts' Week 4 injury report: Key starter returns, while 3 others are still out

The Indianapolis Colts released their second injury report of the week ahead of their matchup with the LA Rams.

Back on the practice field was DeForest Buckner (back) in a limited capacity. Prior to Thursday’s practice, he said that he was planning on playing in Sunday’s game.

Xavien Howard (rest) and Rigoberto Sanchez (personal matter) were full participants as well.

Added to the injury report were Anthony Gould (illness), who was a non-participant, and Braden Smith (heel), who was limited. Grover Stewart also had a vet rest day.

Still not practicing was Matt Goncalves (toe), although he was no longer in a boot, Kenny Moore (Achilles), and Alec Pierce (concussion).

The recently signed Mike Hilton is already expecting to see his share of snaps on Sunday.

Goncalves, in particular, is the one to really watch closely here. His status on Friday will be telling in terms of what his availability this week might be.

If Goncalves can’t go, then Dalton Tucker likely gets the start against what has been a very good LA Rams defensive front.
