On Sunday, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Minnesota Vikings square off in Dublin, Ireland, with an opportunity to go 3-1 heading into the bye week. Pittsburgh is slowly getting healthy with several guys potentially returning this week, like cornerback Joey Porter Jr. and safety DeShon Elliott. Meanwhile, the Vikings are staring down their second-straight game without starting quarterback J.J. McCarthy but the news got worse on Friday for Minnesota.
The Vikings will be without starting rookie guard Donovan Jackson, who is out with a wrist injury. Jackson had started the first three games of the season and was among the best rookie offensive linemen in the NFL.
Minnesota will also be without its starting linebacker, Andrew Van Ginkel, who is out with a neck injury. Van Ginkel might be best known for a pick-six he got on Steelers starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers in 2024 when Rodgers was a member of the New York Jets.
