What do you think of this season?

With the regular season drawing to a close once the final pitch is thrown today, the Phillies will conclude another successful season. They’re in the playoffs again for the fourth straight season, the second in a row in which they will be the NL East division champions. It’s not long ago that the team looked to be stuck in neutral forever, a rebuild that would never end. We would be subjected to seeing the likes of Cedric Hunter in the field and Jerome Williams on the mound, Phillippe Aumont coming in in relief.

Yet here we are and the team is in great shape to win a World Series depending on the outcome of the playoffs. Many will not even answer this question until those games are concluded, but let’s narrow it a bit: how do you consider this regular season for the Phillies?

They’ve won more than 90 games again in a season that wasn’t exactly their healthiest. They’ve won a division again, yet some of that can be attributed to their opposition for the crown falling by the wayside. It’s been successful, right?
