Cincinnati Bengals rookie linebacker Demetrius Knight Jr. arrived at Denver’s Empower Field at Mile High wearing a Joe Burrow jersey ahead of his team’s NFL Week 4 showdown with the Broncos on ABC’s Monday Night Football.
Receiver Ja’Marr Chase, who appeared on Fanduel Sports Network’s “Golic and Golic” during the week to discuss his matchup with Surtain and the Broncos, arrived at the field early for a pregame interview with ESPN.
With Burrow at quarterback, Chase had nine catches for 102 receiving yards during the Bengals’ overtime win against Denver in 2024 Week 17. Three of those catches for 27 yards came with Surtain defending him.
In March, Chase signed a four-year contract extension with the Bengals worth $161 million.
In 2024, Chase won the receiving triple crown as the regular-season league leader in three categories: receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns. It was the NFL’s fifth receiving triple crown since 1970.
