Sept. 29 (UPI) — Malik Nabers, Lamar Jackson and Joe Alt were among the NFL players injured in Week 4 of the 2025 NFL season. Those hurt will be evaluated throughout the week.
New York Giants coach Brian Daboll confirmed Monday that Nabers sustained a torn ACL in his right knee during the second quarter of a win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday in East Rutherford, N.J. He was placed on injured reserve and will miss the remainder of the 2025 campaign.
Nabers logged 271 yards and two scores on 18 catches through his four appearances this season. Jalin Hyatt, Gunner Olszewski and Beaux Collins are the backup wide receivers listed behind Nabers, Darius Slayton and Wan’Dale Robinson on the Giants’ depth chart.
Giants safety Jevon Holland also sustained a neck injury against the Chargers.

The Chargers lost star left tackle Joe Alt to a right ankle injury just 10 snaps into their Week 4 setback. Coach Jim Harbaugh told reporters that he was unsure of the severity of the injury. A source told NFL Network that Alt is believed to have sustained a high-ankle sprain, which could result in a multiple-week absence.

The Chargers (3-1) will host the Washington Commanders (1-3) in Week 5. The Giants (1-3) will take on the New Orleans Saints (0-4) on Sunday in New Orleans.
The Saints lost right guard Cesar Ruiz to an ankle injury during their 31-19 loss to the Buffalo Bills (4-0) on Sunday in Orchard Park, N.Y.

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson sustained a hamstring injury during a 37-20 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Ravens offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley (ankle), cornerback Nate Wiggins (calf) and linebacker Roquan Smith (hamstring) also left that game early.
Ravens coach John Harbaugh said none of those injuries appear to be of the season-ending variety. He did not say if Jackson will be available in Week 5.

Jackson completed 14 of 20 passes for 147 yards, a score and an interception in the loss. He also ran for 48 yards. Backup quarterback Cooper Rush completed 9 of 13 passes for 52 yards against the Chiefs.
The Ravens (1-3) will host the Houston Texans (1-3) in Week 5.
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Darnell Mooney (hamstring), Cleveland Browns wide receiver Cedric Tillman (hamstring), Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Travon Walker (wrist), Minnesota Vikings tackle Brian O’Neill and San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Ricky Pearsall (knee) were among the other notable players to sustain injuries in Week 4.
The 49ers will battle the Los Angeles Rams in the NFL’s Week 5 opener at 8:15 p.m. EDT Thursday in Inglewood, Calif.
