The Buffalo Bills are 4-0 after defeating the New Orleans Saints 31-19 in Week 4. And while Buffalo is undefeated, its defense has left a lot to be desired, specifically in the secondary.

Tre’Davious White was called for multiple penalties on the back end, and it led to rookie Dorian Strong taking his place. The Bills do have a chance to make a splash move ahead of the trade deadline, though, as it is reported an NFC cornerback could become available.

“With Seahawks star CB Devon Witherspoon returning on Thursday, teams are monitoring Pro Bowl CB Riq Woolen as a possible trade target by the deadline, sources tell The Insiders,” Ian Rapoport reports. “Woolen’s playing time has diminished, and in a contract year, teams believe he could be available.”

Woolen was a Pro Bowler as a rookie in 2022, and has been a reliable piece in Seattle’s secondary over the last three seasons. In a crowded secondary, though, he could be the odd man out.

Buffalo should certainly make the call to the Seahawks about a deal. The Bills are incredibly thin at cornerback, with Max Hairston hurt and no reliable veteran depth at their disposal. Woolen would immediately slot in as the No. 2 starter opposite Christian Benford and help minimize the passing games of the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens.
