Aiden Devine, New Berlin West football
Devine had one of the better rushing performances around the area this past week. The junior running back toted the rock 18 times for 194 yards and four touchdowns for the Vikings in a 40-20 victory over defending co-Parkland Conference champion Wauwatosa East.
Josie Johnston, Franklin girls golf
Johnston sealed first-team all-Southeast Conference honors with her first tournament victory this past week. The sophomore carded an 86 at Rivermoor Golf Club with three birdies to take home medalist honors for the first time in her career.
Emily Muresan, Arrowhead girls tennis
Muresan helped the Warhawks capture a Classic 8 Conference team title and a perfect season within conference play at the C8 tournament. She won the No. 1 singles bracket with a 6-2, 6-1 victory in the final over Mukwonago’s Taylor Davies, dropping just five games on her way to the individual title.
Eli North, Marquette boys cross-country
The junior, along with teammate Brendan Reardon, broke the school’s all-time record for best individual time in an event, finishing in 15:14.40 at the Midwest Invitational at Blackhawk Golf Course on Sept. 27. North finished second in the race with his time, while Reardon (15:22.20) took fifth to help the Hilltoppers finish second as a team.
Connor Tracy, Brookfield Academy boys soccer
The junior had a huge week for the Blue Knights on the pitch, tallying five total goals with an assist in victories over Salam and Living Word Lutheran. Tracy scored four of Brookfield Academy’s seven goals in a shutout of Salam, and then registered a goal and an assist in a 3-1 win over LWL.
