Travis Kelce is feeling 2-2 — and about to be 36!
The NFL star reflected on his upcoming Oct. 5 birthday with his brother Jason Kelceon the latest episode of New Heights.
But another trip around the sun isn’t something the tight end fully embraces.
“It’s not a good day, it’s just an annoying day for me,” Travis explained. “I don’t want to get into the Grinch of birthdays but I’m just not in on birthdays.”
Jason briefly pondered Travis’ stats for games during his birthday week, but his younger brother wasn’t having it.
“I don’t think we should look that up, because I don’t think they’re very good,” Travis said.
Now in year 13 of his NFL career, the Kansas City Chiefs star has 15 receptions for 182 yards through four games this season. Last year, he posted similar numbers: 15 receptions for 158 yards over the same amount of games.

After an offseason that saw the Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? host slim down and rededicate to the game following a disappointing end to the Chiefs’ 2024 campaign, Kelce has been seen enjoying his time off the field with fiancée Taylor Swift.
The Life of a Showgirl singer has slipped into both of Kansas City’s home games so far — and pulled up to Arrowhead Stadium for an appearance at Travis’ alma mater Cincinnati’s game against Nebraska two days after they announced their engagement in August.
In her record-breaking guest spot on New Heights that same month, the superstar and her future brother-in-law discussed one of her special interests, numerology — which seems to have made an impact on Jason, who contemplated Travis’ new age on their show Wednesday.
“I don’t know, is there any numerology? What’s the numerology with 36?” Jason pondered. “Half of 72. Yeah. Twelve times three. Baker’s dozen. I don’t even know where I’m going with this.”
To which Travis responded, “Alright. Exactly.”
