SEC Availability Report ahead of Florida football's Week 6 matchup vs Texas Longhorns

The Florida Gators face a Southeastern Conference opponent this weekend as they host the Texas Longhorns inside Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. As per SEC rules, both teams released their availability reports on Wednesday evening.

Billy Napier and Co. will be without running back Treyaun Webb, who has been out since undergoing a surgical procedure to repair a muscle rupture in his right hamstring before the start of the season. Edge defender LJ McCray is also out for an extended period due to a broken foot that required surgery, as well as defensive back Dijon Johnson, who is out for the remainder of the season after having surgery on his knee following the Miami loss.

Defensive lineman Caleb Banks, who is expected to be taken in the earlier rounds of the 2026 NFL draft, remains out with what has previously been described as a “longer-term injury” after exacerbating a previous foot ailment during preseason camp. Defensive back Aaron Gates is also out for the foreseeable future after undergoing surgery to repair his left shoulder labrum earlier this week.

Running back Ja’Kobi Jackson is the latest entry on the injury report, but it appears to be a short-term issue that hopefully will be resolved soon.

The good news is that wide receiver Dallas Wilson, a transfer from the Oregon Ducks and a former five-star prospect, is cleared to play on Saturday for the first time with the Orange and Blue.
