In the Yankees’ biggest, and potentially last, game of the season, it was a rookie who stole the show.
Flame-throwing righty Cam Schlittler shined in his postseason debut in a decisive Game 3 of the AL Wild Card Series against the Boston Red Sox. He gave the Yankees eight dominant, scoreless innings as he struck out 12 while allowing five hits and no walks.
