The claim for the top college football program in the Sunshine State comes to a head this weekend as the Miami Hurricanes travel up to Tallahassee and face off against the Florida State Seminoles.
A pair of top-20 programs, this could be the first of two matchups between the two as they navigate an unclear ACC terrain. Both programs have also done well in setting themselves up for success in the future, with notable success on the recruiting trail.
According to 247Sports, Miami has the No. 12 overall class with 23 commitments. Florida State doesn’t sit too far off at No. 14 with 24 pledges.
