Predicting each remaining game on the Falcons' 2025 schedule

The Atlanta Falcons are having a roller-coaster season and we’re only four games in. While there have been some major bright spots, especially on defense, a lack of consistency has the team sitting at 2-2 at the bye week. The Falcons initially appeared to have an easy schedule, but it’s about to get much tougher.

Atlanta has back-to-back prime-time games coming up against two first-place opponents. The Buffalo Bills are undefeated at 4-0 and the San Francisco 49ers just improved to 4-1 with a big win over the Los Angeles Rams. The Falcons will also play the Rams later this season in prime time.

Fortunately, there are still a few winnable games mixed in there, and if Atlanta can avoid going 0-2 over the next two weeks, the playoffs are still on the table. Check out our predictions for all 13 remaining games on the Falcons’ 2025 NFL schedule.

Week 6: Buffalo Bills (MNF) – Loss

Prediction: The Falcons should fight hard coming out of the bye, and while I won’t be totally surprised if they pull the upset, the Bills have been playing at a different level this season. Bills 27, Falcons 24.

Week 7: At San Francisco 49ers (SNF) – Win

Prediction: This is a game that could potentially save the Falcons’ season after what I expect to be a loss to the Bills. Atlanta always seems to play the 49ers tough and I think Bijan Robinson will out-shine Christian McCaffrey in an upset road victory. Falcons 23, 49ers 21.

Week 8: Miami Dolphins – Win

Prediction: The Dolphins are struggling this season and just lost No. 1 wide receiver Tyreek Hill. I think the Falcons’ pass rush will be too much for Tua Tagovailoa without his favorite target. Falcons 20, Dolphins 17.

Week 9: At New England Patriots – Loss

Prediction: I initially had this game as a win for Atlanta, but New England has been better than anticipated. Playing on the road, I think the Patriots end the team’s two-game winning streak. Patriots 23, Falcons 17.

Week 10: At Indianapolis Colts (Germany) – Loss

Prediction: Just like with the previous game against the Patriots, this was a matchup I initially picked the Falcons to win. The Colts lead the AFC South at 3-1 and Daniel Jones has been better than most of us assumed he would be. I think Indianapolis gives the team its second straight loss here in Week 10. Colts 24, Falcons 21.

Week 11: Carolina Panthers – Win

Prediction: After a 30-0 loss in Week 3, I think Michael Penix Jr. and the Falcons offense will get their revenge in Week 11. It’s hard to imagine the team playing as bad as it did two weeks ago. Falcons 27, Panthers 16.

Week 12: At New Orleans Saints: Win

Prediction: The Saints are 0-4 and I don’t see them turning things around anytime soon. The Falcons will take care of business in New Orleans and get their second win in as many weeks. Falcons 34, Saints 21.

Week 13: At New York Jets – Win

Prediction: The Jets could be a tough matchup and I’ve gone back and forth on this game. Even on the road, I like the Falcons to outlast a feisty New York team led by quarterback Justin Fields. Falcons 27, Jets 24.

Week 14: Seattle Seahawks – Loss

Prediction: Seattle has been very good this season, especially on defense. With an improved offense led by Sam Darnold, I think the Seahawks knock the Falcons back to earth in Week 14. Seahawks 28, Falcons 20.

Week 15: At Tampa Bay Buccaneers (TNF) – Win

Prediction: Tampa Bay got lucky that Younghoe Koo missed a 44-yard game-tying field goal in Week 1. I like the Falcons to even the season series in Week 15 in another high-scoring game on Thursday Night Football. Falcons 30, Bucs 27.

Week 16: At Arizona Cardinals – Win

Prediction: The Cardinals are in the basement of the NFC West at 2-2, but I think this could be a trap game for Atlanta. Assuming the Falcons team that showed up in Carolina doesn’t reappear, I like Atlanta in this one. Falcons 20, Cardinals 16.

Week 17: Los Angeles Rams (MNF) – Loss

Prediction: The Rams are 3-2 but should arguably be 5-0 after two heartbreaking losses. Even though the Falcons are at home, I can’t see them pulling the upset here in Week 17. Rams 24, Falcons 16.

Week 18: New Orleans Saints – Win

Prediction: After a tough loss in Week 17, I like the Falcons to bounce back with a win over the Saints to sweep the season series and end the year with a win.

Falcons Final Record Prediction: 10-7
