App State and Oregon State face off today in a battle of two teams on losing streaks.
The Mountaineers are 2-2 after dropping two consecutive games, while the Beavers are winless on the season at 0-5.
This is the first meeting between the two teams, and the first by Oregon State against an active member of the Sun Belt Conference since 2003.
The Beavers are led by former Texas and Duke quarterback Maalik Murphy. He’s thrown for 1,165 yards, seven touchdowns and five interceptions this season.
App State is led by quarterback AJ Swann and its powerful rushing attack through Rashod Dubinion. Swann has thrown for 943 yards and six touchdowns with six interceptions, while Dubinion has rushed for 513 yards and two scores.
