GLENDALE, Arizona ― Tennessee Titans receiver Calvin Ridley is active for Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals despite his knee and elbow injuries.
The Titans (0-4) visit the Cardinals (2-2) at State Farm Stadium on Sunday (3:05 p.m. CT, CBS). Ridley was absent from practice on Wednesday and Thursday and limited for Friday’s walkthrough. The Titans elevated veteran James Proche II from the practice squad for this game, with Ridley questionable and No. 6 receiver Bryce Oliver out with a knee injury, but Proche is now inactive.
The Titans previously ruled Oliver, right tackle JC Latham, offensive lineman Blake Hance and safety Mike Brown out for this game. Brown has since landed on IR in a countermove to bring running back Tyjae Spears off injured reserve. Spears, Ridley, safety Kevin Winston Jr., and defensive tackle James Lynch came into the game listed as questionable; Winston is active for the first time, set to make his NFL debut after the Titans drafted him in the third round in April.
Ridley has been quarterback Cam Ward’s second-most-targeted receiver this season, bringing in 10 of the 24 throws targeted his way for 141 yards. He’s yet to catch a touchdown this season.
