Merab Dvalishvili’s historic year continued at UFC 320 when he defended bantamweight gold for the third time since January, this time against Cory Sandhagen.
Dvalishvili (21-4 MMA, 14-2 UFC) made it 14 consecutive wins inside the octagon with a unanimous decision victory over Sandhagen (18-6 MMA, 11-5 UFC), who could not stop “The Machine” in Saturday’s co-main event at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

If Sandhagen can stop the first three takedown attempts from Merab in every round, and keep Merab from putting him on the fence -I see the success for sandhagen that’s his style fight. #ufc320

Not a terrible round for Cory. Clearly landed the best strikes of the round. Was that enough, not sure.
