Best and worst offensive PFF grades for Patriots in win over Bills

It took until the second half before the offensive party got started in Sunday’s primetime game between the New England Patriots and Buffalo Bills. But once the points started to rain, the Patriots never backed down on the road against reigning NFL MVP quarterback Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills’ offense.

It was a signature performance from second-year quarterback Drake Maye that fueled the 23-20 upset victory at Orchard Park. His ability to go toe-to-toe with Allen on a big stage gave the Patriots more than just hope for the future.

They now have hope for the present as well.

In one game, they proved they are a team to be reckoned with when they don’t lose the turnover battle. Maye also found a serious No. 1 receiving target in 31-year-old wideout Stefon Diggs, who racked up a team-high 10 receptions for 146 yards.
