When was Roy Halladay’s no-hitter?
In his first postseason appearance, Halladay threw a no-hitter in Game 1 of the NLDS against the Cincinnati Reds on Oct. 6, 2010.
The last out came on a slow dribbler in front of the plate that Ruiz grabbed and threw to first for the final out. Halladay was a walk away from a perfect game while striking out eight.
The Phillies swept the series, but lost to the eventual World Series champion San Francisco Giants in the NL Championship Series.
