Bryce Young was mic'd up for the Panthers' Week 5 comeback win, and it was spectacular

Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young experienced the lowest of lows and the highest of highs in Week 5, and it was all mic’d up.

On Tuesday, the Panthers released a 12-minute video documenting Sunday’s crazy comeback win over the Miami Dolphins. The special presentation starred Young, who had to bounce back from a nightmarish start to get himself and his guys back on track.

Young also hit the microphone after the game, and attributed the 27-24 victory to his team’s resilience.

“We’re just always going to keep fighting, always going to believe, always going to focus on the next play,” Young told reporters. “Obviously, didn’t start the way we want to, stuff for me to clean up. But there was no hesitation, nothing. We knew that whatever it is—flush it, go to the next play. The belief was always there, and I’m so proud to be a part of a team like that.”

The afternoon began with Young turning the ball over twice—once on a fumble on the first offensive possession and again on an interception during the second. But the former No. 1 overall pick tightened up, finishing with 198 passing yards and two touchdowns—including the game-winner to rookie tight end Mitchell Evans.

Carolina’s fight helped produce, along with three performances from the team’s past, the largest comeback win in franchise history.
