Wisconsin’s Week 8 matchup against the defending national champion Ohio State Buckeyes has been set. The two teams will kick off on Oct. 18 at Camp Randall Stadium at 3:30 p.m. ET, 2:30 pm CT. The game will be broadcast nationally on CBS.
The Badgers and Buckeyes last squared off in 2023, also at Camp Randall. Ohio State won that contest 24-10. The two teams have played a total of 86 times, with the Badgers having a record of 18-63-5 in those games. Wisconsin is 0-10 in its last 10 games against the Buckeyes, with its most recent win coming back in 2010. The Buckeyes are 5-0 to start the 2025 season and remain atop the AP Poll as the No. 1 team in the country.
Wisconsin head coach Luke Fickell, who is an Ohio State alumnus, is still looking for his first ranked win as head coach of the Badgers. It would be unlikely, but the Badgers have done it before in Madison.
