An RTX Alienware laptop with great battery life? Yep – and it’s 25% off

Hey, if you’ve been eyeing a new gaming laptop but haven’t pulled the trigger yet, the Alienware 16 Aurora just dropped to $1,049.99 on Amazon for Prime Day. That’s 25 percent off its usual price. This 16-inch laptop packs some solid specs, though there are a few trade-offs to keep in mind.

Performance wise, it handles moderate games just fine (according to our review). Older games fly on it and even demanding titles like Metro Exodus are playable at the higher graphics settings. Battery life is surprisingly good for a gaming laptop–PCWorld clocked it at just over 10 hours.

It also has a backlit keyboard, which is perfect if you’re into late night gaming (makes it easier to see the keys), a 16-inch 2560×1600 display, 32GB of RAM, and RTX 5060 graphics. The build quality is sturdy, too. It’s got an anodized aluminum lid and the hinge is easy to open with a single hand.

The processor is a bit older and the screen could be a bit brighter, but for just over a thousand bucks, it’s a great deal. By the way, Prime Day ends at midnight tonight, so make sure you check out all of PCWorld’s Prime Day deals here.
