The Kansas City Chiefs lost their Week 5 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars in spectacular fashion after bungling a fourth-quarter lead due to mistakes that should have been easily avoided.
During a media availability session on Wednesday, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid was asked about his team’s complete dysfunction relative to self-inflicted miscues.
In his comments to the media, Reid made it clear that things need to change if Kansas City intends to get back on track.
“That’s something that we have got to fix,” Reid explained. “It’s getting us right now and you can’t do that. The best way to do it is you got out and practice it and make sure you get yourself working on those things that have been causing the problems.”
With a primetime matchup against the Detroit Lions on the horizon in Week 6, the Chiefs won’t have much time to correct their sloppy play.
