The Arizona Cardinals made a roster move that was expected. They announced that tight end Tip Reiman was placed on injured reserve. Reiman suffered an ankle injury and will miss the rest of the season.
They did not make a corresponding move on the 53-man roster, so there are only 52 players on the roster for now.
The Cardinals might wait until Saturday to add someone to the roster when they make roster moves and practice squad elevations for their game on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts.
Reiman finishes the 2025 season having played in four games. He had three receptions for 18 yards. He played 98 snaps on offense and 50 on special teams.
The Cardinals now have three tight ends on their roster — Trey McBride, Elijah Higgins and Travis Vokolek. Reiman was listed previously as the team’s No. 2 tight end. The Cardinals also have Josiah Deguara and newly signed Nick Muse on the practice squad.
Muse was signed to the practice squad on Wednesday.
