The Indianapolis Colts are back on the practice field ahead of their Week 6 matchup with the Arizona Cardinals, and Shane Steichen provided some injury updates on Alec Pierce and Kenny Moore.
According to Steichen, Pierce remains in concussion protocol, but he will practice on Wednesday.
Pierce suffered the concussion against Tennessee in Week 3. He missed the team’s Week 4 game against the Rams, but did return to practice on Wednesday and Thursday of last week.
However, Pierce did not feel well, as Steichen put it, after that Thursday practice and was a non-participant on Friday. He was then ruled out of the Week 5 game against the Raiders.
Per #Colts HC Shane Steichen, WR Alec Pierce (concussion) is still in the protocol, but will practice today.
DT Grover Stewart (bicep) will practice.
CB Kenny Moore II (Achilles) will work out today. When Steichen has described injured players as working out, they’ve practiced.

Moore will work out on Wednesday and see if he’s able to practice.
Moore is working through an Achilles injury that he sustained in Week 3 as well. At this point, he is yet to return to practice.
Lastly, Steichen mentioned that Grover Stewart would practice on Wednesday as well. Stewart exited this past Sunday’s game in the second half with a biceps injury.
