The Denver Broncos have called up one reinforcement from the practice squad ahead of their London showdown with the New York Jets.
The Broncos elevated offensive lineman Calvin Throckmorton from the practice squad to the game-day roster for Week 6, the team announced. Throckorton will revert back to the practice squad on Monday.
NFL teams are allowed to elevate up to two players to the game-day roster each week, and those players do not have to clear waivers before returning to the practice squad. However, there is a three-elevation limit per player each season. Sunday will mark Throckmorton’s first elevation of the year.
After the team placed guard Ben Powers on injured reserve, Throckmorton will provide more offensive line depth on Sunday.

Sunday’s game (7:30 a.m. MT) will be nationally televised on NFL Network in the United States (here’s how to watch abroad). The Jets are the designated “home” team, but it will essentially be a neutral venue in London.
