Shedeur Sanders elevated to #2 on Cleveland Browns QB depth chart

It may not be long until we finally get to see what the Shedeur Sanders hype is all about. On Friday, Cleveland Browns coach Kevin Stefanski announced that Sanders is now QB2 on his team’s depth chart.

We kind of knew this was coming, once opening day starter Joe Flacco was traded to the Cincinnati Bengals in what marked the first trade ever between the Bengals and the current incarnation (started play in 1999) of the Browns. The Browns are not expected to sign or trade for a replacement quarterback.

Dillon Gabriel remains the starter, but it now seems inevitable that at some point soon, we will see Sanders in a starting role. And when that happens, Sanders can finally let his play do the talking. Whether you love him, hate him, feel conflicted about him, or you’re just plain sick of hearing about him, none of that matters when he takes the field.

His performances will do all the talking for him at that point.
