The Las Vegas Raiders take on the Tennessee Titans in Week 6 at Allegiant Stadium. The Titans’ coaching and front-office staff is littered with familiar faces. The following ex (Oakland and Las Vegas) Raiders coaches and executives are now members of the Titans.
Brian Callahan, Titans HC
Titans head coach Brian Callahan was the Raiders’ quarterbacks coach in 2018. Furthermore, his father (more on that below) is well-known within the organization. Callahan spoke highly of the Raiders earlier this week, admitting he was a fan, even referencing The Coliseum days.
“I was a fan of the Raiders. It was a great environment to play in when they were at the Coliseum in Oakland. I have fond memories of the Silver and Black.”

Dave Zielger, Titans assistant GM
Former Raiders general manager Dave Ziegler is currently the Titans’ assistant GM. Ziegler had a short-lived tenure in Vegas, as he tied his fate to head coach Josh McDaniel. He’s helping Mike Borgonzi and Chad Brinker rebuild the Titans around No. 1 overall quarterback Cam Ward.
Bill Callahan, Titans OL coach
Bill Callahan is the Titans’ offensive line coach. A coaching legend, Callahan was the Raiders’ offensive coordinator from 1998-2001. He then replaced Jon Gruden as the head coach in 2002, losing Super Bowl XXXVII to Gruden’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was fired after his sophomore season (2003) in charge.
Reggie McKenzie, Titans VP
Another former Raiders GM is on staff with the Titans. Reggie McKenzie is listed as the Titans’ Vice President/Football Advisor. McKenzie had a long-lasting run with the Raiders (2012-18). The team compiled a woeful record of 40-72 throughout his tenure.
Bo Hardegree, Titans QB coach
Bo Hardegree finds himself in familiar territory. He was the Raiders’ quarterbacks coach in 2022 and interim offensive coordinator/play-caller in 2023 after McDaniels got fired. Hardegree is currently calling offensive plays for the Titans on an interim basis after Coach Callahan forfeited those duties.
Nick Holz, Titans OC
Titans offensive coordinator Nick Holz is a coaching disciple of both Bill and Brian Callahan. Holz was on the Raiders’ coaching staff for 10 seasons (2012-21), holding various titles ranging from offensive quality control coach to assistant wide receivers. In Tennessee, he works closely with Ward and Callahan.
