USC reenters college football AP Poll at No. 20 after taking down Michigan

After falling to Illinois two weeks ago, USC dropped out of the college football AP Poll. Following Saturday’s massive victory over Michigan, however, the Trojans moved back into the rankings, coming in at No. 20.

Entering the game, Michigan, was ranked No. 15, while USC was unranked. After the Trojans‘ dominant performance, however, they moved into the rankings, while the Wolverines dropped out of the top 25 altogether.

Four other Big Ten teams are also currently ranked in the poll. Ohio State remained No. 1 after handling Illinois, who dropped out of the rankings. Meanwhile, Indiana rose to No. 3 after knocking off Oregon on the road, while Dan Lanning’s team fell to No. 8. Finally, Nebraska rounded out the rankings at No. 25.

Up next, the Trojans will travel to South Bend, Indiana for a top 20 matchup with archrival Notre Dame. The Fighting Irish rose three spots to No. 13 after a 36-7 blowout win over North Carolina State.
