Iowa basketball uniforms: Hawkeyes unveil new digs for 2025-26 season

The Iowa basketball team is going to look a lot different this season.

The Hawkeyes already have a new head coach in Ben McCollum, new assistant coaches, and an almost entirely new roster. And they aren’t done there. There will be some new jerseys in the mix for this season as well.

The Iowa men’s basketball team took to X on Tuesday to reveal an exclusive look at some new uniforms that will join the rotation during the 2025-26 season. The hype video, featuring redshirt freshman forward Cooper Koch, junior forward Cam Manyawu, and senior guard Tavion Banks, gives fans an in-depth look at the latest jerseys in action.

The new jerseys take inspiration from the home jerseys the Hawkeyes have worn in recent years, using the same font for the numbers, last name, and “Iowa” on the front. They line the outside of the jersey with the signature Hawkeye gold stripe, very reminiscent of Iowa’s football jerseys.

They also added that gold stripe at the waist and the bottom of the shorts, which also features the tigerhawk logo. It’s a sleek and modern new take on the Iowa jerseys, with a retro feel as well. This new jersey will rotate in and out of a rotation of other jerseys, like the script Iowa and big tigerhawk logo ones. Another look at the new jerseys can be seen here.

The Hawkeyes will open their 2025-26 campaign on November 4 when they host Robert Morris at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. With a new coach, roster, and jerseys, it’s shaping up to be a fun season for the new look Iowa men’s basketball program.
