The Boston Celtics are in a retooling campaign for the coming NBA 2025-26 regular season, and the team’s front office is on the hunt for young, affordable talents who might be talented enough to be a part of the Celtics next title core. Among the players that the team brought on who have shown some promise is former Minnesota Timberwolves forward Josh Minott.
The Lawnmower — as Minott is sometimes called for a nickname — lives up to his billing as such with a seemingly bottomless pit of energy he deploys on the defensive end to stymie opponents with gusto while dropping an occasional dunk or a trey on the other end of the court.
Will Minott be the next great Celtics developmental success story given what we have seen from him so far?
The folks behind the “Boston Celticw” YouTube channel put together a clip taking a closer look at the new signing. Check it out in the clip embedded above!
