DeShon Elliott, in danger of missing the Pittsburgh Steelers‘ Week 7 matchup vs. the Cincinnati Bengals, received a troubling update on Wednesday — he won’t travel with the team ahead of Thursday Night Football.
According to a report from ESPN’s Brooke Pryor, Elliott will not travel with the Steelers to Cincinnati but remains questionable to play vs. the Bengals in Week 7.

With Elliott sidelined in Weeks 2 and 3 while nursing a knee injury, the Steelers’ defense lacked its edge and struggled to carve out its identity until his triumphant return vs. the Minnesota Vikings in Ireland.
While Elliott’s absence would be backbreaking for Pittsburgh, we at Steelers Wire hope all is well for the Steelers standout safety.
