Treylon Burks has made his free agent decision.
After visiting the Denver Broncos on Tuesday, Burks visited the Washington Commanders on Wednesday, and the 25-year-old wide receiver has now opted to join DC’s practice squad, a move that became official on Friday.
The Broncos currently have a five-wide receiver rotation with Courtland Sutton, Troy Franklin, Pat Bryant, Marvin Mims and Trent Sherfield, and Burks might not have gotten on the field quickly in Denver. With the Commanders, meanwhile, Burks will have an opportunity to play sooner because DC is dealing with multiple injuries at receiver.
The Broncos will now go forward with their five active-roster receivers, plus three more on the practice squad: Samori Toure, A.T. Perry and Michael Bandy.
