The Carolina Panthers may be getting a handful of key offensive players back in Week 7, but they still might have a huge hole in the front of the unit.
Starting left guard Damien Lewis, who popped up on Thursday’s injury report with a chest/shoulder issue, did not practice for a second straight afternoon. He has been listed as questionable for Sunday’s matchup against the New York Jets.
Head coach Dave Canales told reporters following Friday’s session that Lewis will be a game-time decision.
Carolina will, however, be able to field running back Chuba Hubbard and tight end Ja’Tavion Sanders—who were listed without game designations. Hubbard was sidelined from the past two games due to a calf strain while Sanders missed the last three with a high-ankle sprain.
Wide receiver Jalen Coker (quad) and center Austin Corbett (knee), both of whom have yet to be activated from injured reserve, were full participants for a third straight day and were noted as questionable.
