The Los Angeles Rams are wrapping up their final full day in Baltimore, Maryland on Friday before they depart for their Week 7 battle with the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium in London, England.
While the Rams have reportedly already ruled out wide receiver Puka Nacua for the international contest, he’s apparently not the only one. According to The Athletic’s Nate Atkins, Los Angeles will also be without offensive tackle Rob Havenstein.
Havenstein, 33, is still dealing with an ankle injury that he suffered in the team’s Week 4 win over the Indianapolis Colts. He’s missed the last two games, and Warren McClendon Jr. has started in his place.
Pro Football Focus has given a McClendon a 70.4 overall grade, making him the 30th-best offensive tackle in the league. Interestingly, he’s listed as the fourth-best run-blocking tackle in the NFL with an 83.0 grade.
Jacksonville hasn’t exactly been the best when it comes to bringing down opposing quarterbacks, as they’ve recorded sacks on just 3.45% of dropbacks (second-lowest rate in the NFL), so the Rams should be able to get by with the backup on Sunday.
