Aaron Rodgers fires back after Steelers’ Week 7 loss: 'I’m not riding the rollercoaster'

Don’t hit the panic button just yet — Aaron Rodgers is doing his best damage control following the Pittsburgh Steelers‘ devastating loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday Night Football.

Following the 33-31 loss, Rodgers attempted to downplay the underwhelming Week 7 performance — reminding reporters that there’s still a lot to be positive about regarding the rest of the Steelers‘ 2025 season, which includes his revenge game against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football next week.

“We had a chance to really open up some space, but we’re 4-2, still first in the division,” Rodgers said via ESPN’s Brooke Pryor. “Got home games coming up, another Sunday night opportunity against my former team. I’m not going to ride the rollercoaster, and I know Mike isn’t. Hopefully you guys follow suit.”

While Rodgers doesn’t want fans to ride the rollercoaster, they’ve seen Pittsburgh derail far too many times before — including the five-game losing streak to end the 2024 season, which also featured an embarrassing loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

After the Thursday night collapse, the Steelers need a win on Week 8’s Sunday Night Football against Rodgers’ former Packers to reestablish themselves as top contenders in the AFC.
