Georgia football trying to flip 4-star Penn State commitment

The Georgia Bulldogs are recruiting Penn State Nittany Lions commitment Elijah Littlejohn. Georgia is back in the mix for Littlejohn, who reopened his recruitment. Littlejohn is weighing his options shortly after the Nittany Lions fired head coach James Franklin.

“At this time, I will remain committed to Penn State, however, due to recent changes and uncertainty I have decided to reopen my recruitment,” Littlejohn said via social media on Oct. 16. Littlejohn has been committed to Penn State since June 2025.

The four-star linebacker recruit plans to visit the University of Georgia on Saturday, Oct. 18 for the Georgia-Ole Miss game. Four-star Georgia linebacker commitment Nick Abrams has been recruiting Littlejohn to try to get him to come to Georgia.

Littlejohn plays high school football for West Charlotte High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. The four-star primarily serves as an edge defender for West Charlotte. The 6-foot-1, 215-pound linebacker could replace recent Georgia linebacker decommitment Shadarius Toodle, who recently flipped to Auburn.

Littlejohn is a member of the class of 2026. He is ranked as the No. 243 recruit in the nation and the No. 14 player in North Carolina, per 247Sports. Littlejohn is the No. 24 edge in the country.

Littlejohn is coming to Athens

Littlejohn could join Georgia’s No. 2 ranked class of 2026. The Bulldogs have 30 total commitments and the best recruiting class in the SEC.
