Kickoff between the Vols and Crimson Tide is slated for 7:30 p.m. EDT at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. ABC will televise the matchup.
Saturday marks the 17th time the Vols will play on Oct. 18. Tennessee is 7-9 in games previously contested on this date.
Tennessee first played on Oct. 18 in 1904, defeating Maryville College, 34-0, in 1902. The Vols last played on this date in 2014, losing to Ole Miss, 34-3.
Tennessee has played the Crimson Tide 10 times on Oct. 18 with Alabama holding a 6-4 advantage in those contests.
