Curt Cignetti says Spartans played hard, have good talent on offense in post game pressor

Indiana is a true national championship contender, and they proved that once again when the Hoosiers dismantled Michigan State on Saturday afternoon, 38-13.

Following the game, IU head coach Curt Cignetti spoke to the media, sharing his feelings on the game, while also commenting on Michigan State.

Speaking on the Spartans, Cignetti shared that the he felt the Spartans played hard in the contest, and that he had to pay attention to the weapons the team possesses.

“I thought Michigan State played really hard, and offensively they’ve got some weapons.”

Further, commenting on the early success the Spartans had offensively, Cignetti gave props to what Michigan State tries to do offensively, complimenting the Spartans.

“I’ve always thought they’ve got good design at Michigan State offensively. They can protect with eight, seven, six, five. Out-of-pocket game, good screen game, great play action game, and the quarterback is extremely talented and so is No. 6.”
