Wisconsin basketball started its 2025-26 season on a strong note with a 96-64 win over Campbell on Monday night.
A career outing from junior guard John Blackwell led the Badgers’ efforts. He finished with 31 points (one shy of a career high), four rebounds, three assists and a steal, while shooting 10-of-19 from the floor, 6-of-11 from 3 and 5-of-5 from the free-throw line.

A 15-0 over the following three-plus minutes of game action sealed the triumph. Blackwell scored eight of those points, including two key makes from beyond the arc.
