Jalen Ramsey’s Week 9 role at safety clearly impressed the right people in the Pittsburgh Steelers organization — as his stellar play forced the coaching staff to make a decision about his positional usage moving forward.
According to Steelers HC Mike Tomlin, Ramsey will once again play exclusively at safety for Pittsburgh’s Week 10 matchup vs. the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday Night Football — a choice likely made easy by his natural play at the position in last Sunday’s win over the Indianapolis Colts.
Mike Tomlin says Jalen Ramsey will continue to work “exclusively” at safety this week.

Traded from the Dolphins as part of a blockbuster deal that sent Minkah Fitzpatrick back to Miami, Ramsey was rumored to play a variety of roles on Pittsburgh’s defense this season — showing promise last week as a pure safety for the Steelers.
With the Steelers likely pairing Ramsey up with another Week 9 standout in S Kyle Dugger, fans can watch the talented safety duo take on the Chargers this Sunday night, November 9, at 8:20 p.m. EST.
