Bears RB Kyle Monangai had a hilarious reaction to Colston Loveland's game-winning TD

There was plenty of emotion, deservingly so, from the Chicago Bears as they pulled off a miraculous comeback win over the Cincinnati Bengals last Sunday, which came down to the final minute.

After the Bengals scored 15 points in 49 seconds, the Bears answered with a game-winning touchdown drive, where quarterback Caleb Williams found rookie tight end Colston Loveland for a 58-yard touchdown with just 17 seconds remaining. Loveland finished the game with six receptions, 118 receiving yards, and two touchdowns, the first scores of his NFL career.

During the play, rookie running back Kyle Monangai, who also had a career-best game with 176 rushing yards and 6.8 yards per carry, was on the field and was one of many who were celebrating as Loveland crossed into the end zone. After the game, Monangai shared his reaction to the play, where he couldn’t contain his excitement.

“That touchdown Colston scored, I’m glad I wasn’t mic’d up,” Monangai said. “I was probably sounding like a little girl there running down the field. I was screaming, a lot of emotion, but games like those are what you play at this level for, exciting moments like that. It was fun.”

There was plenty of fun in the closing moments of the game, but the final minutes definitely put Bears players and fans through a roller coaster of emotions. Monangai was more than likely not the only player or fan running around screaming as Loveland’s touchdown gave them the game-winning score.
