According to a report this week, Chelsea are expressing a keen interest in the signing of Real Madrid star Rodrygo.
The report claims that a deal would be for the January transfer window, which of course is now just around the corner.

These types of reports are going to be coming in thick and fast now and we know that many of them will not have any substance at all, but some of them may do. We’ll let you guys decide on this one.
Rodrygo is a player that Chelsea have often been linked with in recent times, and I am sure that he is a player that they would love to sign if they had a chance to, like most clubs would. But whether it is doable or not is another story.

Chelsea being keen on signing Rodrygo is according to a report by Fichajes, who have this week provided an insight into the situation.
They claim that Chelsea are giving real consideration to tabling a mid-season offer for Rodrygo.
Chelsea would allegedly be willing to pay €80 million to land the Brazilian attacker this winter.
Will it happen?
No, personally I can’t see it. I don’t think Chelsea will be spending that amount on a single player in the January transfer window. So unless the fee comes down drastically, I think this will just continue to be a rumour that stays as a rumour.
There is a very small chance that Chelsea could do some sort of deal with Real Madrid. Their interest in Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo is well-known. Whilst I can’t see Chelsea allowing either of those players to leave anytime soon, I do get a feeling that Fernandez does end up there at some point. So perhaps there is a deal to be done there, who knows?
