As Davide Frattesi’s future continues to stir speculation, La Gazzetta dello Sport claims Inter Milan are already mapping out possible midfield reinforcements and Genoa star Morten Frendrup tops the list.
The Genoa midfielder has long been admired by sporting director Piero Ausilio and Beppe Marotta, who view him as an ideal fit for Cristian Chivu’s system, as per La Gazzetta.
Frendrup’s adaptability has become his trademark: he has featured as a defensive midfielder, right-back, left-back, and even as a wide stopper for the Rossoblù.

Statistically, the Dane’s profile is exceptional.
Last season he led all Serie A midfielders in tackles won (61).
He also shared top spot for interceptions (47) alongside Marten de Roon.
Furthermore, he was first for both dribbles stopped (34) and blocks (46).
This year, he ranks third for tackles and second for balls recovered.
Genoa’s valuation sits between €20–25 million.
However, any move from Inter would hinge on an outgoing transfer to balance the books.
That could mean Frattesi himself becomes the key to unlocking the deal.
