Researcher sees ‘a lot of backsliding on climate commitments’ since 2015 Paris conference

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Paris Agreement. At that time, the countries of the world agreed that global warming should be kept well below 2°, and preferably not exceed 1.5°. At the climate conference in Brazil, countries are now set to present even more ambitious national commitments.
