HONOLULU – When it rains, its pours, especially for the San Diego State Aztecs, who were completely dominated by the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors, 38-6, on Saturday at Clarence T.C. Cling Athletics Complex.

Dropping the ball in a massive spot, no could have expected this outcome. The Aztecs went into this game on a six game winning streak and the only remaining undefeated team in the Mountain West Conference.

They knew how important this game was for not only to keep the momentum by beating a good Hawaii team, but to take another big step toward clinching the top spot in the conference. Head coach Sean Lewis said after the game last weekend that a win in Honolulu could be enough to finally convince the college football committee to land the Aztecs in the Top 25.

Not only did they fail to do that, but it was arguably their worst loss of the season compared to their Week 2 36-13 loss to Washington State.
