TV details announced for Michigan State-Penn State next week

Michigan State football will return for the bye in a nationally televised matchup next week.

Michigan State’s final home game next week against Penn State will be televised on CBS the network announced on Sunday morning. The game is set to kickoff at 3:30 p.m. ET.

Michigan State is looking for its first conference win of the year, with a record of 3-6 overall and 0-6 in Big Ten play. The Spartans have lost six straight games, with their last loss coming in overtime at Minnesota two weeks ago.

Penn State is also in the midst of a six-game losing streak, losing a heartbreaker this past week against Indiana. The Nittany Lions started the season ranked No. 2 but now sit at 3-6 overall and 0-6 in Big Ten play.

The winner of this game will keep their bowl eligibility alive, while the loser will officially be out of bowl contention. Penn State is listed as a 8 1/2-point favorite in this matchup.
